Becca Ming (Dinner Dates, Paint Myself, cover art)
(printed as becoming)

The LJ user most commonly mistaken for "becoming" has been playing, slacking and generally verbing in the Lotrips fandom since early 2003. Primarily an Orlando fangirl, her oeuvre features both fantastically angsty art and moderately angsty writing, and contains such diverse pairings as Viggo/Orlando, Dom/Orlando, the occasional Dom/Elijah, and just plain old Orlando.

Beizy (Occupation)

Beizy has been a member of the Lotrips fandom since early 2003. She spends most of her time maintaining a public Lotrips chat room. Along writing lines, Beizy is most known for her Sean Astin/Elijah Wood pieces, as well as her Billy Boyd/Dominic Monaghan AU 'Defy the Dark'.

Blythely (Equipoise)

Blythely likes to think she is the porniest. As a New Zealander she feels it her national duty to write in the lotrips fandom and cranks out the occasional smutlet. Also, the boys (and girls) are pretty. She has no real otp but seems to write about that Dominic Monaghan chap a fair bit, and goes so far as to impersonate him in lotr_porn. She collaborates in west_trips and writes far too much angsty porn with sparcck. Her life would be fulfilled if Josh Hartnett were to play an adult Harry Potter, but that's another fandom entirely.

Bunnie (New Zealand Sky)

A huge Lord of the Rings fan, Bunnie's love for hobbits turned to love for hobbit actors in early 2002. Accidentally stumbling across slash shortly thereafter eventually led to experimenting with writing it, and she now considers it to be her favorite hobby. Lotrips is Bunnie's first love, but she's also dabbled in The Faculty and other minor fandoms.

Cassandra (Emergence)

Cassandra (AirgiodSLV) has been writing in the Lotrips fandom for a year-and-a-half. She would like to thank everyone who has offered support, criticism, and examples of how it should be done.

Dee (Rain in LA)

Dee got dragged into Lotrips in April 2002. Her first story featured two guys and a girl, and since then, she's never looked back. She likes writing not-quite-normal pairings, angst and weird stuff. Her OTP is Viggorli, except when it's Dom/Orli, except when it involves Miranda. Or Karl. And Elijah's good for angst. But that's it, honest.

Echo (Vanishing Points)

Echo (otherwise known as lux__aeterna) has been writing fanfiction off and on since 1998. She joined the Lotrips fandom in late 2002, but only became truly active mid-2003. Since then she has branched out and jumped on just about every fandom wagon to come her way- Y Tu Mama Tambien, Boondock Saints, and Harry Potter, to name a few. Echo's one claim to fandom fame is her story Falling Is Like This, which, for some odd reason, a lot of people seem to like.

Eliyah (Monkey Lore)

Eliyah is (not very well) known for "Bite", "Gym Buddies" and "Bling Bling". She has written fics about port-a-loos, appendix in a jar, ikea and Harlequin bugs. She's also written LOTR under the name of Poncing Ponies. This is Eliyah's first zine and she's just chuffed to be included.

Ella Minnow (Spelling Dom)

Ella Minnow has been active in the lotrips fandom since January of 2003, having blithely followed where mcee led. She mostly writes Dom/Billy, but has been known to branch out if the occasion or the bunny demands it.

Hope (editor)

Hope joined the lotrips fandom in mid 2002 after becoming involved in the lotr fandom early that year. active in the lotrips, lotr and faculty fandoms, Hope is probably best known for running lotrips hosting domain dombillijah.com, multifandom oscillating.net, and co-running lotr rosiesamfrodo.com. in terms of writing, her most popular piece to date is the lotrips au bow. Hope runs several fandom community sites, such as archives and help sites, and is the editor of the lotripping zine.

Inbetweens (Never Go Home)

Honey has been publicly writing in the lotrips fandom for about two years, though she lurked for several months before that. lotrips was her first fandom, and she has since been participating in the faculty, igby goes down, x-men, and greek-classic fandoms. she is best known for "cautery," "in which billy boyd says stuff," and her tremendous crush on miranda otto.

Karri (Against the Dying of the Light)

karri is a relative newcomer to the lotrips fandom, having been lured here in late 2003 by the promise of cheeky english boys, scottish accents, and characters over the age of consent. since then she has written a number of tales of hobbits in compromising situations, and is probably best known for having an odd fascination with cucumbers.

Kaydee Falls (Auld Lang Syne)

Kaydee Falls first started lurking in the Lotrips fandom in early 2002, and was proud to post her first fic while she was still technically too young to even join that mailing list. She's still mainly a lurker, although she's posted a few more fics since then, built her own fic-and-icon website as part of the dombillijah.com domain, and is now really fully legally allowed to enjoy the smutty stuff. Now that she's written her bio, she plans to scuttle back under her rock. Cheers!

Mary Borsellino (Eleven ways not to start an autobiography)
(printed as Mary)

Mary started writing fanfic when she was fourteen years old because she wanted to be a vampire Mary-Sue when she grew up. She is a big ho who has been into pretty much everything since, because she is a big ho like that. She likes lotrips because the boys are funny lookin' and sometimes say things which sound a bit naughty. She runs too many websites to give the proper attention and care to any of them. She writes far too much fanfiction, but has come to terms with this fact. She probably should have thought of a pseudonym, but it's a bit late now.

Mcee (Dearly Beloved)

Mcee joined the fandom in December 2001 upon seeing the first film of the trilogy. She is currently mostly known for her characters in lotr_porn, a lotrips role-playing game she moderates. Prior to this, she was prolific in the Buffy fandom, and has also enjoyed writing in West Wing, The Faculty, and most recently Pirates of the Caribbean, King Arthur, as well as varied real-people fiction in most of the same fandoms. Mcee is not a native English speaker, so it is rather quite surprising when she can manage to string a sentence together. Despite this handicap, she has thrived as a writer of libel stories about celebrities enjoying the carnal aspects inherent (we like to think) to their careers.

MSilverstar (Into The Dark)

MSilverstar is a middle-aged professional, married and mother of two, who is astonished to find herself writing porn. She stumbled on LOTRIPS in February of 2003, was sucked into it and is having too much fun to leave. She writes slash, het and gen, and has no OTP: she is, in her own words, a "Lotrips pairing slut".

Rave (Orlando)

Probably best-known if at all as the author of the short, lowercase Lotrips mixtape "Positivity," Rave has been involved in a tumultuous on-and-off relationship with the Lotrips fandom since Viggo and Orlando first went about nuzzling each other in late 2001 and early 2002. She is currently mostly faithful to her long-term partner, the Harry Potter fandom, although obviously conducting the occasional affair on the side with fandoms as disparate as Pirates of the Caribbean, Good Omens and the Boondock Saints.

Shaenie (Cops and Robbers)

Shaenie joined the LoTRiPS fandom near the end of 2002, when, while anxiously anticipating the release of The Two Towers, she accidentally stumbled upon slash fiction while searching the internet for information about the movie. Of course, this happened at work. It didn't stop her from creating a LiveJournal and jumping in with both feet. Shaenie is active in LoTRiPS pretty much exclusively, though she has written in The Faculty fandom, dabbled in HP, and has even written a couple of LoTR FPS short fics. She is probably best known for her lengthy Convergence-verse, as well as playing the character of Detective Bill Boyd in the RPG lotr_porn and her involvement in the massive collaborative fiction universe, West.

Shanalle (Full Circle)

Shanalle joined the lotrips fandom late, only being introduced to RPS in December of 2002. She began writing fanfiction a few months later, and is probably most well-known for her array of stories featuring Dom and Billy. In addition to maintaining her own archive at burning-memories.net/littlethings, she serves as webmistress of the Woodcest Archive and moderates a few hobbit-related fan communities. As well as writing for the lotrips, lotr and x-men fandoms, she plays Anna Paquin and Billy Boyd in the lotrips au rpg, lotr_speakeasy.

Sheldrake (Lodestone)

Sheldrake has been hanging around the Lotrips fandom since its very conception, but only came out of lurkerdom in December 2002, when she posted her first Lotrips fic, Holding the Pose. Since then she has continued to write a variety of pairings and genres. Her Dom/Elijah fic Batcare for Beginners is widely regarded as one of the most utterly ridiculous things ever to come of any fandom, anywhere, ever.

Sophrosyne (Incunabula)

Soph found fandom and fanfiction for the first time with lotrips and has spent a lot of time enthusing about it to bewildered strangers ever since. She spent a year bedazzled by fic, then finally had a go herself. Since then she's written almost a hundred separate pieces. She does funny, tragic, funny-tragic, sexy-tragic, funny-sexy, and anything in between. This volume contains one of her uncommon long tales.

Sparcck (Mutual Appreciation Society)

After harboring a crush on Elijah Wood for years, Sparcck wondered who the dashing young man hanging all over him in pictures from the Fellowship premieres was. A few hours of searching later, and Sparcck was hooked on Lotrips, her first RPS fandom. She's probably best known for her participation in the RPGs lotr_porn and west_trips, as well as the collaborative writing projects Road Trip and 10 Storey Love Song and her former mod status in lotrips100. You may also know her from her incessant audblog spam. Sparcck is active in Lotrips, HP, Gundam Wing, DC Comics, and the Faculty, and is one of two people in Gerry fandom. She would like to thank Blythely for being her otp, Ben Affleck's forehead for always being there for her, and Hope for the opportunity to work on this fantastic project.

Strawberry (The Part that Really Matters)

Strawberry joined the lotrips fandom at the beginning of 2003 after being a reader in lotr fps for two years. She is best known for Dom/Billy fic and the occasional OT3 smut. She also plays Elijah in the lotr_porn livejournal rpg. Berry has written lotr and m&c fps, as well as other fps based around Dom Monaghan. She runs a Geoff Shawcross website and has designed archives for other lotrips writers. She is looking forward to the upcoming Lost fandom.

Trianne (Making Amends)

Trianne has been writing fanfiction for two and a half years, starting off with LOTR FPS and then branching out into RPS. She has her own website, created by Hope, "A Shortcut to Trianne", which houses her FPS, RPS and AU stories. Trianne's muse is Elijah Wood and therefore her stories tend to revolve around him in many and varied guises.
